Wolfgang's Steakhouse

Wolfgang's is one of my favorite steakhouses in NYC. The steaks are made perfectly, the service at the 54th Street location is always out of this world, and the deserts are amazing. I've dined at this particular location at least a dozen times and couldn't recommend it here highly enough. Also, Wolfgang's makes the best steak sauce bar none!

We went because there are videos of people being very happy with Wolfgang's, and you can add us to the list. I brought my husband and son for belated Father's Day, and we weren't disappointed. The service is impeccable, and they had the drink is pre -ordered for my husband ready as we walked in. The tuna tartar was delicious, as weer my lamb chops and his steak. My son got the clams and I tried to sneak one or two because they were great as well. Don't forget the sides! The mash and creamed spinach were perfect, sauteed mushrooms were enjoyed and dessert was great. Would definitely come back (like for a birthday dinner)

Got there on time but can’t get seated till all parties are there!!! Some ppl where about 15 minutes late lol got a round table in the back!! This is for my lawyer Tim birthday dinner!!! We ordered all the appetizers lol the bacon was good!!! Me and my friend shared the tomahawk steak and other friends order one to and out tomahawk steak was old and full of tendons my friend was like not good but I try the other friends tomahawk and it was real good!!!

They are so rushed and rude. I did order and a few minutes they served bread and drinks. Not even when we got to try the bread that was served, they asked me if we are finished our bread so we said no however, they said that we had no space to put with our food so they wanted to take it away. So we gave up our enjoyment which was the bread. Too quick and rushed customers were dissatisfied from the rushness actions from the waitress. In addition, I was eating my food while the waitress came and asked if he can take the bread away and if we are done. However, before our reply he just took it away without any further notice. The waitress doesn't care the careful quality of customers. It is required for the waitress to always catch up and serve customers. Before, we went to other very high quality restaurants this was the first time this kind of incident happened. I can tell that high quality restaurants like this one is different from other places but it should always serve carefully with better quality and careness. This should never happen again as because this is a restaurant business and customers expect restaurants to serve as they want and for the best. Not even minutes when the new waitress, different from our other nice one who took our orders didn't talk in a nice soft way instead of a rude rough way by also talking very loud which made us feel unhappy. This is a great steakhouse called Wolfgang, please be careful with these situations so you don't lose customers. It depends your workers to serve well to customers to spread your serving and how your steakhouse gets better. I feel like your steakhouse Wolfgang shouldn't have negative reviews like this just because of the workers but especially anyone. However, I really enjoyed your food so much. Food is not just food but the taste of enjoyment from the service.

Food was overpriced. Oysters, side dishes (asparagus). Steak was nothing to brag about but most importantly, service was not first-rate. Overtly self imposing waiters, subpar service diminsh the restraurant going experience, especially one priced this high. Go elsewhere. Frank and Johnnies had tastier stesk at a more reasonable price.
